Deaf Bat Walks

Published: Jul 28th, 2015

BATDeaf Unity is currently making arrangements with the Bat Conservation Trust and Avon Bat Group to run a series of Bat Walks and survey activities for the Deaf Community.

It assisted the Bat Conservation Trust’s stand at the Gardeners’ World Live Exhibition at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham in June 2015.

Please contact Alasdair Grant on alasdair.grant@deafunity.org for further information on when those events are taking place. Details of when those events are taking place will be announced on Deaf Unity website in due course.

The Bat Conservation Trust has a set of details on how to run accessible bat walks for the Deaf Community which can be found at: http://www.bats.org.uk/pages/deaf_and_hard_of_hearing_people_dhoh.html.
