Crisis Support Worker (Deaf Project)

23.5 hours per week (one year contract)
5.30pm-2.30am every Wednesday night, alternate Friday nights and every Saturday
NJC Scale 6 point 26-27. £23,398 (pro rata). Actual starting salary £14,861.
We are seeking a Crisis Support Worker to work in Dial House, a crisis service which is open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Wednesday nights, to provide support to Deaf and hearing people.
We wish to recruit people with personal experience of mental distress and substantial experience of working with people with mental health problems, including working with Deaf, BME and LGBT communities and with people at risk of suicide and self harm. Excellent support and supervision is provided.
