This is an exciting opportunity to join a countywide specialist social work service supporting D/deaf adults living in Surrey. You will be promoting and enabling independence, raising awareness with colleagues who may come into contact with D/deaf people and communicating with Deaf people in their own language, British Sign Language. Social Workers must take a person centred approach, which seeks to be inclusive and promote equality and diversity. Knowledge of working with people who are Deaf/deafened/hard of hearing is essential. Sign language skills desirable.
