Community Development Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team. Merseyside Society for Deaf People works across Liverpool, Wirral and Sefton supporting people who are Deaf or hard of hearing. We are looking to recruit a Community Development Officer to work across Liverpool developing community projects, primarily for our Deaf Community but also with our deaf and hard of hearing communities.

This role is 35 hours per week Monday to Friday with some evenings and weekend meetings or activities to meet the needs of the Community, with 25 days annual leave, Employee Assist Programme and a company pension scheme. You will be supported through regular supervision, team meetings and relevant training opportunities. You will be based at our head office is in West Derby, Liverpool with flexible working.
