Community Mental Health Nurse
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated and suitably experienced individual to work as a community Mental Health nurse within the Nottingham Adult Mental Health Services for Deaf People who has an interest to work with individuals with a hearing impairment.
You will need to demonstrate evidence of extensive knowledge experience and skills of working within Secondary Mental Health services and caseload management. This should include knowledge skills and experience of evidence based practice and recovery principles.
You will need to demonstrate evidence of highly developed experience and skills in the supervision and management of other staff. You will need to demonstrate evidence of effective interpersonal skills and the ability to manage complex issues arising from the management of a busy County Wide specialist service community including achieving all required performance targets and demonstrate skills of working with families and carers.
You will need to demonstrate evidence of knowledge experience and skills of working as a practitioner within mental health services. This should include evidence based practice and recovery principles.
You will have proven skills in specific interventions e.g. Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance
The post requires effective interpersonal skills and the ability to manage complex issues arising from the delivery of a service in a busy inner city community mental health service, including achieving all required performance targets.
You will be required to contribute to the implementation of the Adult Directorate Clinical Strategy and Service re-design programme, as well as the evaluation of this service You must have RMN or diploma in Mental Health Nursing qualification and be registered with the NMC. A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
