Deaf Family Support Worker
Salary:£21,089 to £23,761 pa
We are looking to employ a Deaf Family Support Worker, to work in our Manchester Outreach Team, with experience of deafness and deaf culture who can join and be part of a deaf child mental health service.
As a Deaf CAMHS Support Worker, you will be involved in clinical work such as offering direct intervention to deaf children and their family members in collaboration with mental health professionals and offer support and advice to external professionals, as directed by the multi-disciplinary team. Applicants must have a positive attitude towards working with deaf children, and their families, with mental health needs. The service is seeking to employ people with enthusiasm to improve services for deaf children and their families and is particularly interested to receive applications from people with demonstrable experience in this area.
