Grade: 6 Part Time
Hours per week (%FTE):7.3 hours per week (20% FTE)
Salary (inclusive of London allowance): £28,574 – £33,487 per annum (pro-rata)

The Deafness, Cognition and Language Research Centre (DCAL) is based within the Faculty of Brain Sciences at University College London (UCL).  It is an internationally renowned research centre and the only scientific centre in Europe using deafness as a model system to address core questions about language and cognition. The deaf and hearing members of DCAL combine expertise in the general domains of linguistics, psychology and neuroscience with specialist expertise in deafness on a single site.

The post holder will manage impact generation, communication and publicity about the Centre’s activities, including management of DCAL’s social media accounts. They will also organise and manage events for the deaf and hearing public and will manage improvements and updates to the Centre website and other online resources.

This position is available ASAP to 23rd December 2022 (3 years).
