Support Worker- Waking Nights

It’s an exciting time as Sense has just released its new strategy, we now have an opportunity for a Waking Nights Support Worker to join our service in Kings Heath, Birmingham.

This is a permanent role, working 35 hours per week.

As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you will either support a group of individuals in our service or support an individual on a one to one basis in their own flats. Our main service includes supporting those who have a range of complex needs, including sensory loses and learning disabilities and we also have an adjoining flat where we support an individual on a one to one basis. At interview, we will discuss your suitability for either service.

The duties are varied and no two days will be the same. The people we support are individuals and they are all treated as such. As a general guide, you may support with personal care needs, as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing.

Salary: £9.72 per hour/ £17,690 per annum

Hours: 35 hours per week
