Communication Support Workers (CSW) provide a specific support role, much different to Interpreters. They facilitate communication across a variety of settings, including schools, universities and workplaces. They work with an individuals chosen communication method, and support them to ensure that communication is full and smooth – for example, a CSW may support a lipreader by repeating what has been said if they were not able to understand it.
We provide experienced and skilled professionals to support learners in their environment and professionals in their workplaces. This can be ad hoc or on a regular basis, ensuring you don’t have ever-changing support professionals.
