Acclaimed artist and choreographer SERAFINE1369 curates an evening of performance at Shoreditch Town Hall.
Set on a bed of soil, this three-hour cyclical programme invites you to experience a series of repeating performances from various angles and perspectives.
Featuring a line-up of UK and international artists, including Adam Christensen, keyon gaskin, Florence Peake and SERAFINE1369, the performances will unfold in a time-bending cycle with blurs, overlaps, collisions and transformations as each work flows into the next, again and again.
‘I’ve been looking for things that last’ is commissioned by Home Live Art to celebrate their 25th anniversary and is a reimagining by SERAFINE1369 of their legendary Performance Salons from 1999, embodying the radical spirit of those gatherings while offering a bold, queer contemporary perspective on how we experience performance in these shifting times.
