ITV Academy is a very busy training and development team, part of ITV Studios. We take huge pride in the work we do, bring passion to work every day and are motivated to succeed and deliver a high standard of work in every task we undertake; big or small.
ITV Academy works with existing ITV Studios production colleagues on their training requirements to make sure they can be the best they can be to work on ITV Studios fantastic shows.
We also work with newcomers to the TV industry by creating entry-level jobs; providing training and mentorship to give them the best start in their career.
We are dedicated to working closely with schools & colleges to inspire the next generation of diverse TV talent to pursue a career in the industry our team loves so much.
Role
To deliver exceptional daily support to the Director of ITV Academy and the wider Academy team by helping create and deliver outreach events and staff training, diary management and travel booking for the whole team and creatively promoting ITV Academy’s work via our internal and external comms platforms.
- Assisting with planning and delivery of all ITV Academy events including managing guestlists, creating event materials, risk assessments and collecting event feedback
- Assist with the creation of social media posts promoting ITV Academy opportunities and events
- Assisting with ITV Studios staff training events including room bookings, creating event materials, researching training providers
- Assist with the creation of articles & blogs shared internally with ITV colleagues
- Daily diary management and travel booking for Director of ITV Academy
- Communicate with colleagues & stakeholders at all levels through video calls, face-to-face conversations and emails
- Process purchase orders, expenses and invoices for the team
- Ensure documents are stored and updated correctly
- Record minutes & actions of meetings
- Understand ITV processes, policies and ways of working
- Data management and coordination of distribution lists
- Support with administration for ad hoc projects and initiatives to support the department

- Strong ability to multitask and prioritise tasks at a fast pace with multiple ongoing projects
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Can demonstrate delivering work/projects presented at a high standard and is motivated to develop & improve on their existing skills

- Trustworthy when dealing with confidential and sensitive information
Entry Requirements
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or equivalent qualifications.
- An interest in Early Careers and demonstrated passion for working in the TV industry
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly convey ideas and technical information.
- Proactive learner with a collaborative mindset.
