The role…
We are recruiting for two leadership roles within the Record to Report (RTR) team, each with slightly different responsibilities. Candidates interviewed will be considered for both vacancies. The successful applicants will lead, manage, and develop either the RTR Reconciliations Team or the RTR Fusion Projects Accounting Team, ensuring delivery of standard methodology core accounting processes and strong financial governance. Both roles are key to driving automation, efficiency, and the accurate, timely production of ITV’s financial statements. Depending on which pillar you are assigned to as mentioned above some of your key day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Ensure the accurate, complete, and timely production of balance sheet, revenue, and cost reconciliations, addressing discrepancies and aged items promptly.
- Drive the use of ARCS (Oracle Cloud EPM Account Reconciliation) to centralise reconciliation policies and ensure consistent adoption.
- Oversee the Fusion Projects accounting process, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and automation while leading timely month-end and year-end accounting activities.
- Lead the team in line with ITV Behaviours, motivating, supporting, and developing team members through regular 1-2-1s, performance reviews, and career development opportunities.
- Collaborate with managers across RTR and Finance Operations to resolve discrepancies, identify errors, and build a cohesive, supportive management team.
- Ensure continuous improvement and a digital approach within the team, driving performance, increasing standardisation, and automation wherever possible.
- Actively participate in ERP testing (SaaS releases and system developments) to enhance understanding of Oracle Fusion’s capabilities and processes.
- Support audit activities by collaborating with external auditors, providing vital documentation and explanations during financial audits.
- Set priorities and manage time optimally to meet deadlines and achieve team goals.
- Provide active support and involvement in RTR team meetings and assist the Head of Department (HoD) as needed.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)…
- Qualified accountant (ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with several years of experience, or highly experienced QBE with significant people and process management experience.
- Experienced reconciliation process specialist, with proficiency in accounting software, preferably Oracle Fusion / ARCS.
- Experience leading an RTR team using automated reconciliation software.
- Experience with Oracle Projects Accounting/subledger or equivalent is required for the Projects Manager position
- Ability to implement changes and improve processes is required for both roles.

- Experience in Record to Report (RTR) processes, including involvement in digital transformations, creating teams, and writing critical standard process documentation.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and problem-solving with innovative solutions.
- Experience with Oracle ERP
