Today – Wednesday March 8, 2023 – is International Women’s Day! Though the origins are a little odd, we would never pass up the opportunity to celebrate the women of our community who deserve recognition.
Looking back over our articles, particularly our Deaf Role Model of the Month series, we are proud to recognise that we have featured many amazing women who continue to trailblaze, fight mental causes and embody those values in their lives.
Here is a roundup of some of the articles that we have been privileged to feature over the last few years. If you know of any other inspirational deaf women who should be featured as a Role Model, please let us know!
